Willie Gunn requires little introduction – being one of the most universally recognized salmon flies around the world. You can see some Thunder & Lightning inspiration in the body and rib, while the warm colors are best suited for slightly peaty waters. No surprise it is one of the most important patterns for Baltic salmon, Kola and British rivers. Sizes #6-12 are tied on a Mustad DL71U black double hook, sizes #2-4 tied on a VMC 9909 black double hook. Also available: Tube.
