Uppo-Bomber

One of the most legendary Finnish salmon flies. Uppo-Bomber, the “sinking Bomber” references the classic dry fly with its name but excels a bit deeper. Fish it slow or fast, fish it deep or just below the surface. We have had a lot of success close to the surface on a floating line. However you might want to use it, Uppo-Bomber is one of the first flies that come to mind when thinking about Northern Norway salmon rivers. Tied on a Loop double hook.
