Sarveton Jaakko

Sarvijaakko is one of the all-time greatest salmon flies that ever originated from a Finnish vise. Ake is often regarded as one of the most important patterns for Finnmark rivers in northern Norway, but we have used it with excellent results pretty much everywhere.

Sarveton jaakko is sort of a hybrid between these two legendary salmon flies Sarvijaakko and Ake. The general feel is closer to Sarvijaakko without the feelers, but proportions take some elements from Ake. Fluorescent rib brings a modern touch to the pattern. Tied on black Loop double hook.
