The Hare’s Ear Dry is a great imitation for small, brownish mayflies that can be found in just about every creek and river. This delicate pattern has a very natural silhouette and catches extremely well in a steady current. You can shape the longer fur of the hare in the front/thorax area as you like and treat it with a drop of floatant. This fly is a versatile, small mayfly in a very natural color!
