Parachute Caddis

Getting our Parachute Caddis model perfected has been a pet project for Superflies owner Jasper Pääkkönen. The deer hair has now been barbered as close as it gets to the shape of a caddisfly, while the material also provides excellent floatation. Parachute Caddis is one of the all-time best Finnish trout flies, which also goes by the name Nyblom Caddis – or simply Caddis. Tied on a Daiichi 1170 hook. Also available: larger sizes known as Salmon Caddis, we also have Barbless Hi-Viz version with a fl. orange post as well as Hi-Viz with a fl. green post.
