Some might think of Black Dose as a classic featherwing fly that works best as a decorative element of your hobby room. Our hairwing variation might not win a fly tying competition and was never meant to do so. Purely an effective fishing fly, more specifically one of our favorite “black fly” patterns for salmon or sea trout! Tied on a strong Partridge P double hook.
