Zander fly fishing, especially using modern live target radars from a boat and targeting big pelagic specimen is one of the most thrilling forms of predator fishing. Those who have tried it know that it takes so much more than just finding the fish – frustratingly often you will see those long arches on the screen stay put when your fly drifts past, or swim away after a promising approach.
That’s where our zander flies come in. We had the privilege of creating a custom series of flies specifically for live target fishing with one of the leading gurus in the field, Jyri Yläpöntinen. As a result, you select our predator jig flies without or with dragon tails, or try our Water Pushing Dragon Tail. Sometimes smaller baitfish flies work better, like our Perch Clousers, but usually big zander love our pike flies just as much as their primary targets.
