There are many great caddis dry flies out there, but Elk Hair Caddis is without doubt among the best. The wing provides decent floatation for dead drifts, but also works as a “popper” pushing water when skated along the surface. This version is tied with peacock body and CDC to give it some extra flavor. Also available: Elk Hair Caddis and Elk Hair Caddis Hi-Viz.
