Nelli “Reversed”

“Nelli” has grown into something of a cult color in the Nordic pike fly fishing scene during the past few years. At least we don’t have clue where and when the name comes from, but Nelli usually means a pink head coupled with some shade of brown, copper, gold or the sorts. Our version relies on the contrast of fl. hot pink and a fairly natural colored brown, along with a few mandatory sparkles here and there. For some reason, many see it as a “big fish color” – try it to find out why! The colors work great also in reversed order. Tied on a Partridge Universal Predator X hook.
