The Kotkan Kerttu fly pattern is another hit made popular by Teemu Tolonen’s “Top Salmon Flies” book. The fly has originally been developed for Southeastern Finland’s Kymijoki – a wide river with colored water. A great salmon fly for any similar conditions, but can also be effective in clearer waters. Tied on a Mustad 3582BR double hook.
