Many consider the “Holy Trinity” of Baltic salmon fishing being the combination of Phatakorva, Den Vanliga and Banana Fly. While these are unquestionably must-haves, we would definitely raise Willie Gunn at least to the same level. If you had to choose only one fly for Torne river and its tributaries, it just might be this Templedog-style Willie Gunn. Naturally, the warm colors of one of the most classic salmon flies are a killer combination for any slightly peaty surrounding. We also have weighted variations available: Copper Tube and Pluppis Willie Gunn.
