This premium quality fly is part of our charity fly selection, where we donate 1€ per each fly directly to river conservation work. Part of the batch is tied with a slightly too long tail for our taste, which is why it is part of our Charity Flies selection.

With good confidence you could describe Sarvijaakko as the all-time greatest salmon fly that ever originated from a Finnish vise. Sarvijaakko is the first choice for many anglers both in Norwegian and Finnish rivers – a legend in places like Tana and Neiden, but also “the only fly you’ll ever need” in smaller grilse rivers. Maybe it’s the two feelers that drive salmon nuts about thefly? Tied on a Mustad DL71U double hook. Also available: premium quality Sarvijaakko on different hooks.
