The simple chenille San Juan Worm is a real “love it or hate it” fly. Some purists might argue that using worms isn’t real fly fishing at all, but we beg to differ. Especially in high water, they represent fly fishing is at its purest: matching the hatch for feeding fish. Aquatic worms are in abundance year round in many rivers, and what better way to replicate them than the famous San Juan Worm! Also available: Tungsten Bead variation and Chenille Worm Jig. If you prefer rubbery worm flies, have a look at Squirmy Worm and Squirmy Worm Jig.
