Peute is one of those legendary flies with a good story. Created by French fly fishing pioneer Henri Bresson after he got the instruction from a poacher he met on the river. The name is french and translates to “ugly”. Fly is tied with single mallard breast feather. Simple desing and odd name don’t take anything away from the flies effectiveness. Teid on Ahrex Fw503 hook
