Perch Clouser Small

This Clouser variation has been specially tuned for perch fishing. Designed by our local Finnish perch fly fishing and fly tying specialist Jari Koski as a part of a bigger perch fly lineup, so you can be sure it will work. Tied as a so-called Lefty-style Clouser (no tail, just the wing), it will always ride hookpoint up and is very much foolproof. The hot-tipped rubber legs add something special to this pattern that perch just can’t resist. Tied on the super sharp and reliable Ahrex NS110. The small version in chartreuse & white weighs in at around 0.9 grams and is 6 cm long. These flies are nice and easy to cast even with light gear. The small version is especially good earlier on in the summer when the fish can be kind of picky and baitfish very small. Be sure to try these bad boys for trout, bass, and other baitfish-eating light tackle fish. You also have to buy the Perch Clouser Medium version to make sure that your perch fly selection is set for different situations.
