Adapted from our favorite northern pike patterns, this hollow-style GT fly is our own go-to pattern for big geets. The bucktail makes it lighter and faster to cast when the GT’s are moving fast, and speed is of essence when your shots appear out of nowhere and are gone in a split second. We’ve caught some of our biggest GT’s with these deceivers on Farquhar, Cosmoledo, Alphonse and other outer atolls of the Seychelles. Tied on an Gamakatsu SL12S saltwater hook.
