About this fly
Pheasant Tail can found in every trout bum’s fly box – or at least should. Perhaps the most famous and certainly among the most universally productive nymphs in the world. “Close enough” to all sub-surface stages of most aquatic insects to be a guaranteed choice for almost any situation whether its brown trout, rainbows, char or grayling you are going after. This version has light metallic pink disco style bead for little extra flash. Tied on a quality Hanak HBL450 jig hook, ensuring less snags and more effective hook sets especially when targeting graylings.
Bead sizes:
#10: 4.0mm tungsten bead
#12: 4.0mm tungsten bead
#14: 3.5mm tungsten bead
#16: 3.0mm tungsten bead
