Alphlexo Crab is what’s hot on the flats nowadays. The new go-to pattern for many permit gurus – but it’s definitely not just a fad. Since the Alphlexo is closer to a life-like crab replica than a traditional “close enough” imitation, it’s no wonder even the pickiest permits and bonefish are being deceived time again. Tied on a Gamakatsu SL11 saltwater hook. Also available: Original Alphlexo Crab, tied by the same tyers as the ones sold on Alphonse Island lodge.
