Avalon Permit Fly is perhaps the most important piece of permit angler’s fly arsenal in the Caribbean, Mexico and Florida Keys. Here shrimp are so abundant that they play a more important part in permits’ diets than, say, in the Seychelles. Also an excellent fly for targeting larger bonefish! Tied on a quality Gamakatsu SL11-3H saltwater hook. It is always a good idea to bring two different weights for different depths, so do also check out the lighter Avalon Permit Fly Beadchain Eye.
