Mayan Claw is a highly effective crab pattern that combines elements of two proven saltwater flies: the Strong Arm Merkin and the Raghead Crab. Designed with permit in mind, it’s a great choice for fishing both shallow flats and surf zones. Works very well in classic permit destinations like Ascension Bay and Xcalak.
