We had the honor of producing Jari Koski’s (@tjabster on Instagram) signature Surf Candy variants together with the master himself. What a drag to tie, but a joy to fish. If you are serious about fly fishing big perches, this is THE baitfish for the job. Although Jari primarily targets perch, Surf Candies are naturally a great choice for coastal sea trout too. In fact this is one of our go-to pattern for imitating long, sandeel-type coastal baitfish. Tied on an Ahrex Nordic Salt 172 hook, which is also a great option for sea trout fishing.
