Unconventional to say the least, but the Gummy Minnow an absolute killer tarpon fly in the right conditions. This rubbery, transluscent piece of saltwater fly candy passes as an ultra-realistic baitfish – something even the most finicky silver kings will rise to devour! Smaller sizes can be an outstanding bonefish fly in places like Los Roques or certain areas of Yucatan, where bones have developed a taste for baitfish. Tarpon/snook sizes tied on an strong TMC 600SP saltwater hook and bonefish sizes (4 and 6) on a Gamakatsu SL113H saltwater hook.
