Green Butt is one of the absolute classics for Atlantic salmon around the world. When salmon enter the river from their green-blue feeding grounds, their eyesight is still tuned for the colors of their ocean habitat. Perhaps for this reason Green Butt has the reputation of being the early season go-to fly on many rivers.
