Crazy Charlie Dumbbell

Perhaps the ultimate bonefish fly! Crazy Charlie is a classic that has inspired many similar looking “upside down” patterns since its introduction in the 1970s. Though originally tied to imitate glass minnows, it probably goes down just as well as a shrimp. Even if you aren’t sure what’s on the menu, the Charlie is an excellent bet in almost any situation and you should definitely be equipped with several colors and weights.
